Shad Whaley

I’m Shad Whaley, a mortgage loan officer with My Style Mortgage, helping families and individuals achieve homeownership since 2021. I specialize in first-time homebuyer programs, FHA loans, refinances, home equity products, and investment property financing.

I got into real estate and lending because I genuinely enjoy the homeownership process and helping people feel confident every step of the way. My approach is simple: clear communication, education, and creative problem-solving when needed. I see myself as a mortgage advisor—not just a loan officer—focused on guiding clients through smart, informed decisions.

Originally from Southeast Idaho, I graduated from Utah State University with a finance degree. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, staying active, and spending time with my wife and our three kids. I’m a former collegiate rugby player and still compete at the men’s league level, and I’m a fan of the Seattle Seahawks and Utah Warriors.

My goal is to be a trusted resource and make the mortgage process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
